Our Little Girl is 2!

Gwen is officially a toddler! I know it's been said many, many times, but seriously... where does time go? It really feels like she was just an itty-bitty baby crawling around on the floor, and now she's just about outrunning her 5-year-old brother! She's a spunky one and I wouldn't have her be any other way.

We planned a surprise birthday party for her at home with just the four of us, nothing fancy. Just the way we like it. Of course, she wasn't aware it was her birthday but you better believe her brother knew! I think he was more excited than she was.

She enjoyed opening her presents and eating her cake, but honestly, she was more excited about all of her balloons than anything else. Figures. You spend a small fortune and go through all the trouble of setting up a cool surprise, and she immediately gravitates towards the balloons!
